Last juice






Kine and I had a lemon lemonade before I took her to the airport. I have had so much fun this week and it’s very sad that Kine had to go home to Norway. She is now staying at a friends house in Nairobi and will leave Kenya tomorrow at 8am. I miss you Kine!

In Kisumu we have one big Masai Market. Today Kine and I visited it to buy som souvenirs.

Kiboko bay.





After the sunrise we relaxed by the pool in Kiboko bay.

Sunrise in a boat on Lake Victoria. We saw fishermen and hippos.


Uganda





Today Kine and I crossed the border to Uganda. We bought material for making dresses. The Bodaboda-drivers in Uganda have pink uniforms, and they matched my dress. :)

Yesterday we visited a school and I guided Kine around Kisumu. We took a swim in the pool of Kisumu hotel.

Animals







We saw a lot of animals today.


Leopard




The cars were hunting the poor leopard.


Birds




In the tree and on the ground, we saw birds. they were pretty and had many coloures.


Killing in Masai Mara




Yesterday 20 wazungu was cought slaughtering an innocent buffalokid. Just for fun! They are now inprisoned in the chickenvan.

One of the lions asked Elisabeth to marry her, and she got so angry she killed them all.


The sausage tree



When we passed a particular tree Helene started singing «Får æ’kje pøls så hopper æ i elva» this is her favorite norwegian song. The tree is called a sausage tree.

Rift Valley

We just stoped briefly to have a view over Rift Valley.


Pesa pesa pesa



Yes! Now we are on our way to Masai Mara. We are eating breakfast in Big Mikes wan. Just now we´ve paid Mike the money, (Pesa) for the whole safari. I found it a bit hard. ;)
