What to visit in Kisumu, Kenya 3

Some times during my stay in Kisumu, I wanted different food then the african. My favorite place was Loathing buddha. The restaurant is in the Swan Center. It's in Kisumu city. Try the orange pasta (my favorite), and say hallo to Anand (the owner). Enjoy!

Ps. It's closed on mondays, but in the weekends it's the best. The restaurant even has a little bar on the first floor.

What to visit in Kisumu, Kenya 2

Impala Park

Take a nice walk in Impala Park. See the animals and have a picnic. The ticket price varies. 300 shillings if you work in Kenya. Try bargaining. For some extra money you can take pictures with the chits.

What to visit in Kisumu Kenya.

1. Lake Victoria. 

Take a tuktuk (150 shillings), or a pikipiki (around 40shillings).  to hipo-beach or fisherman-beach. Hire a boat (maybe 1000shillings) from there to go out on the lake. The best time is early in the morning before sunrise (6 am). Enjoy! 

Football final

After I went for a walk in the city last night, I could not stop singing football songs ... Ooohh Bergen city!! ÅÅÅÅLESUUND! By the way, it is great to see how many night owls who have signed up to protect girls from being attacked ! : D

Oslo is scary these days. There have been several attacks on women in the last couple of days. Today I took the bus instead of walking home. Hopefully the police will work out the situation soon. In the meantime, we must be careful girls. Do not go home alone!
