Artist

In Lamu we live in an wonderful apartment. The owner of this place is an artist and you fint many of her paintings around the house. The place is very cool and is almost like an old castle.

Bed view

Tonight I slept on the roof of the new house we live in. We moved from the hotel yesterday because Jeff helped us to find a house to stay on. Three more norwegians joined us last evening, so now we all live in the house together. My bed is on the roof. I fell asleep last night watching the moon, and woke up at sunrise with a spectacular view of the ocean.

Boat trip

Today we went for a boat trip. We sailed out to an island. There we did snorkeling, we swimed and explored the island. We ate fresh fish for lunch.

Canada

To come to Lamu you have to take a boat. Chathura, Kristoffer and I went in a boat with a guy named Jeff, from Canada, and we have been hanging out with him the two days we have been here.

Lamu

On saturday we arived on Lamu. Lamu is a small island outside Kenya. There are no cars here, only donkeys. Yesterday evening we went home to a man named Ali Hippy and ate dinner. He served seafood, and it tasted delicious. After the dinner Ali sang some songs and played keyboard. We had a very good time.

Baboon hunting.

Mary and I hunted baboons today. We saw some antelopes and I ran afther a lot of goats. In the end we found some baboons, but when I tried shooting some pictures of them they ran away.

Swimming in Tana River

Row, row, row your boat gently down the stream. If you see a crocodile don’t forget to scream. :) Today we went swimming in Tana River.
